It was Bessie Wheat and her daughter Florence that were standing there when Edward Strole shot himself. What a tragedy. She must have divorced George or he died because she married a McGlocklin. I have since found Bessie's daughter Florence (they moved to Des Moines Iowa) son Wm. Taylor in Des Moines and talked to him on the phone. I have pictures of little Billie Taylor when he was a child and plan to send pictures to him. He is probably in his 80's but sounds very with it. He is a retired engineer.
