Information courtesy of Sharon Warner, Homer Index. Steven L. Ladd, 47, of Litchfield, died Saturday, November 27, 1999, at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. Mr. Ladd was born February 26, 1952, in Hillsdale, to Burton and Lorene (Foulk) Ladd. They survive in Litchfield. He was a 1971 graduate of Litchfield High School and was an area factory employee for years. In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Mrs. Russ (Marcia) Gauger of Hillsdale; three brothers, Phil Ladd of Litchfield, Larry Ladd of Jonesville and Dennis Ladd of Litchfield; three nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, December 1) at 11 a.m. at the Litchfield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Clyde Wonders officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Litchfield. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Hillsdale County.
