They are part of my STAYTON family tree. Cecil Floyd INKS (1899-1978) was married to Genevieve L. ALLESHOUSE (1903-1975) around 1920, probably in Branch County, MI. Cecil was the son of Elmer E. INKS and Chloe STAYTON. Genevieve was the daughter of George W. and Ada ALLESHOUSE . Cecil and Genevieve had 2 children: Helen L. (b. abt 1921) and Lyle E. (1922-1945). They divorced sometime in the mid-1920s. Cecil then married Myrtle E. COY and Genevieve married William K. KINGSNORTH. Genevieve and William had a son, William James KINGSNORTH, b. abt 1932. Cecil died on 5/9/1978 in California and Genevieve died 9/25/1975 in Battle Creek. Helen INKS was 1st married to Clarence Robert WEAVER and had a son, Robert E., born abt 1940. They later divorced and Helen then married Harold E. WILSON. Harold died 1/28/1979 in Battle Creek. Helen may still be living or remarried after Harold's death. I have not located any death record for her. Lyle E. INKS was married to a Gloria (surname unknown) sometime around 1941-1942. They had a daughter Rebecca L. INKS, b. abt 1943. Lyle enlisted in the U.S. Air Corps in 1942 and served as a fighter pilot in World War II. Lyle died in March 1945 when his plane was shot down over Austria. His body was returned to the U.S. in 1950 and he was buried in Battle Creek Memorial Park in Battle Creek. The last information that I have on Lyle's wife Gloria and daughter Rebecca was from the 1950 newspaper account regarding Lyle's burial. At that time, they were residing at 22 Sisson Ave. in Battle Creek. I suspect that Gloria likely remarried but I do not know her married surname. Also, Rebecca likely married and I am not aware of her married surname. I would like to make contact with anyone who knows or has information on any of the above mentioned persons. I am glad to share any other information that I have in my files regarding these families.. Thank you. Duane J. Large Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
