Has anyone had success with old church records? I'm talking 1804 - 1840 time period. I'm at a roadblock and thought I'd start contacting churches in towns where my ancestors were born, married, and had children. But I'm wondering how others have made out doing this. Any input very much appreciated. thanks,Patti
Does anyone have access to early marriages/indexes in Calhoun County? I believe abt. 1836-1837 my gggrandmother Margery Wright may have been married to John N. Murray. Their first child was born in 1838. They have been my brick wall for many years. Still trying to learn who their parents were and where they were from in MA and VT. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Patti
