    3. The Eaton's came from Manlius, Onondaga Co., NY Sophia Eaton Elsworth born 1812 brother Levi Eaton born 1813 and brother Calvin born 1796. They had a brother Ira born 1789 that I know very little about but he may have moved also to Mi. Levi and wife plus Calvin and wife are buried in Austin Cem., Convis Two., Calhoun Co., MI. I have more on the family if you need it.     3. My ancestor Norman Ellsworth born 1817 NY and his brother Ira Hanks Ellsworth born 1808 VT moved first to Calhoun Co MI from NY and are in 1840 census there. I beleive they had other family members there also. A sister Julia Ann Ellsworth born abt 1814 married Levi Eaton and moved to Calhoun Co., Mi and lived and died there. A sister Charlotte Ellsworth b ro June 1815 married John VanAlystyn Ashley and they also moved to Calhoun Co . Ira Hanks Elsworth's wife was Sophia Eaton a sister to Levi Eaton above. They also had a brother Calvin Eaton who lived and died in Calhoun Co MI. Norman Ellsworth married Phylanthia Eaton in Calhoun Co Mi and Phylanthia is buried in Calhoun Co . Would appreciate any info I can find on any of thse families. I have a ot that I can share. Norman and Ira moved to St Joseph Co a little later. I really would like to find parents Ellsworth for this family. Thanks in advance for anything alyone is willing to share. Norma Roberts

Age 82 Of Battle Creek Died Monday, February 12, 2007 at her residence after a long illness. She was born January 12, 1925 in Battle Creek to Donald M. and Rhea S. (Sullivan) Bivens. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1943. She worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. in Battle Creek of 32 years, retiring in 1982. She married Robert C. Hayward on June 27, 1948, at the First Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years on November 28, 2001. Surviving are a son, Michael Charles (Mary Ellen) Hayward of Galesburg, two grandchildren, Tracie Lynn (Randall) McGuire and Michael Chad Hayward; and a great-grandson, Blake Randall McGuire. Shurley has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 60 years; active in the Telephone Pioneers of America and a member of American Legion Post #54 Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at the Battle Creek VA Hospital and was a member of Battle Creek Central Alumni. She enjoyed her family, friends, her ! cat, playing cards, reading, collecting dolls and small lighthouses, traveling and feeding the birds and wildlife in her yard. At the request of the family, friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the FARLEY-ESTES & DOWDLE FUNERAL HOME 105 Capital Ave., NE where they will be received 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and on then Thursday 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2007, with Dr. Jeffrey S. Battle Creek Lyle Aldrich, owner of L A Trucking, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007 at his home under the loving care of his family. He was born February 6, 1950 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Wesley and Wauneta (Shoup) Aldrich. He was a graduate of Harper Creek High School and Kellogg Community College, and attended Michigan State University. Lyle married Rose (Kisinger) and together they had three beautiful girls. He spent his life helping people and donating time and money to help various causes. Lyle enjoyed boating, car shows and spending time with his daughters.
