Michael and my greatgrandfather John Seeger came here from Germany and I would love to find evidence of this but the family info is that they were both stowaways on a ship and I don't think you could track that. Also, my husband and I sent for the death certificate for Jerome Campau (his grandfather) who died in Kent County May 16, 1937; and it states he was buried at Lowell and I have checked all the cemetaries and they have no record of this. He was born in Hudson, MI (Apr 18, 1859) to Antonio and Betsy Campau. Antonio was born in Detroit, MI. I think we hit another roadblock. After getting access to the 1900 census - it looks like I have found them in Marengo. I don't really have any experience or access to American records so I wondered if anyone could be of assitance. The names are as follows John LOW(E) born 1843 - Susannah LOW(E) born 1843 and children Mary Ann born 1870, William born 1875, Henrietta LOW born 1879 and Arthur born 1883.
