One of Roswell's boys was a William Henry I am told...Thought maybe this Henry could be brother to Roswell. Had this brick wall forever in trying to find parents/siblings of Roswell b.1800 NY or MA.

Surnames: PIERCE REESE LAZARUS WILLIAMS MALONEY Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/RFB.2ACE/1714 Message Board Post: I'm trying to find a connection between the PIERCE families and the REESE families - also probably LAZARUS. According to what my mother told me, Mary E. WILLIAM LAZARUS married a Maloney - a second marriage after the death of her husband John REESE. Mary was highly thought of by the Lazarus family. In the 1900 census for Burlington, MI, Mary E. is enumerated with Luther Pierce as a servant. There is also a Grace Maloney - presumably from the marriage to the Maloney husband although I think she was actually by John Reese who died before she was born. Mary was 59 in 1900 per census and Grace was 17. My mother says the name "Pete Pierce" figures into her memory in early 20th century in Calhoun County - maybe Battle Creek or nearby. In about 1961 or 1962 a nice gentleman came to visit my mom with his wife. He was a PIERCE - from Battle Creek, I believe. He was quite disturbed that my mom knew so little of the family, but somehow the PIERCE line seems to intersect with REESE. Does anyone know anything more about it? I'd like to piece it together and not let that line be forgotten.
