I recently purchased a copy of an 1860 plat-map (reprinted in book form) that provides the names of land owners for Berrien, Cass, & Van Buren counties! The original plat-map was published in 1860 (prior to the U.S. Civil War!), and includes many "extras" (some business directories for the larger communities, "pictures" of some of the residences and businesses, etc.) I will do look-ups for anyone who is interested in finding ancestors in Berrien County.
