Hi, Penny - I'm working on the first email you send. You shouldn't go to any cemetery alone. You should tell someone where you are going. This is rule of thumb. Cemeterys are great places for the low lifes to do there business, but Benton Twp Police and Berrien Co. Sheriffs keep a good eye and there are only a couple of areas where you are out of sight of people. Crystal Springs is no different than any other cemetery I have been to, it is a large sectional, divided my a creek which is dry during the summer. There is usually staff out and about all the time, this is a very well maintained cemetery, and the sexton is very protective of the "personel" property. If you stop by the St. Joseph Public Library they have a copy of who is buried in Crystal Springs, but I don't believe it has been update since the early 1970s. And you can stop at the sexton office at the cemetery and get a map... they don't have the staff to help you find your family but if you ask for one most will be close by. -- On Sun, 3 Feb 2002 15:18:35 PRutz76365 wrote: >I am researching the Rutz family and alot of my family members are buried in >Crystal Springs cemetery.
