HI: Could some one on the list tell us what prisons were close to Berrien county in 1860?? And if possible how to get records from them. Robin

I know that my great uncle Alonzo VINCENT was warden at Jackson Prison in 1901-1906. His wife was Matron and my grandmother worked as a cook one summer before she was married.
