    3. Well, I consider myself pretty computer literate and my husband is getting a master's in computers . . . .but we still can't get this link to work!! Could somebody look up this name for me? Cynthia Hill (Hills) she is the stepmother of my ancestor who died "in Michigan" . If I remember right, the site lets you just put in a name without a county because I don't know which county it is. If it doesn't work that way, I wouldn't ask anybody to look up by counties individually!! Thanks! gina scott -----Original Message----- From: stevegerm@provide.net [mailto:stevegerm@provide.net] Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2002 1:38 AM To: MIBERRIE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MIBERRIE-L] death index link - 2 ways to go! Good news (maybe) for those who have been unable to access this Michigan GENDIS web site. If the following address does not work for you ... http://www.mdch.state.mi.us/PHA/OSR/gendis/search.htm ... you can try this variation ... http://www.mdch.state.mi.us/PHA/OSR/gendisx/search.htm The web pages seem to both work identically, but the page formats are different (the 1st one has a "printer friendly" look - not loaded with lots of misc. graphics, etc.) Hope that helps those who were previously blocked from this valuable genealogical data! 3. Hi Gina, The link worked for me and I tried a search for you without any luck. But it only covers the years 1867-1884. I tried both Hill and Hills. They keep adding more years so hopefully soon you will have some luck.
