Dear Deb, I live in Sodus, Michigan and am related to the Moore's. My 3Gr. Grandfather, Zara Warner Moore came here from New York State c.1860 and resided in Pipestone Township until his death. He was a civil war veteran (12th Michigan). All of the Moore's I know in this area are his descendants.
