    1. Re: [MIBERRIE-L] Funeral Homes, ans. to Peg.
    2. Daundra, thanks very much for this information. I would appreciate the box number for the Coloma funeral home. I have no idea when or where Ira Joseph died. I thought maybe he might have been buried next to Anna who supposedly is his 2nd (?) wife. Rosannah, may not have a headstone. She is my great great grandmother. A relative who is in her 90's gave me the information some time ago saying she used to put flowers on her grave but when she had a grandaughter take her to find it, they couldn't locate it. If I could find where she is and she doesn't have a headstone, I'd be interested in putting something up to show where she is. Dora thought it was close to Anna's grave. Any information you might be able to find for me will really be appreciated as these people have been one of many of stumbling blocks. I have sent for Royal Jefferson's obit, to see if he is my gt. uncle, a brother of Ira Joseph and son of Rosannah. I know that there was another Royal J., who was a minister because he married Rosannah Lapp and James Tuttle

    1. [MIBERRIE-L] Arney, Buck, Main, Shaw, Green,
    2. SUE
    3. Hello, I am new to the list and enjoy it very much. My family lived in Berien Springs for many years. My maiden name is Arney and my maternal grandparents were Porter A. Buck and Ella L. Shaw. I have info on the Buck family dating back to the 1850's. I have the book "History of Suak County WI, 1880" that has info on the Buck family. I will try to put this info on list ASAP. I also have a family Bible that has these entries that conect to the Shaw family line. BIRTHS: Samual Merwin Main, dob:March 14, 1813 wife - Maryette Foote Main, dob:March 10, 1815 children: Samuel Sylvester Main, dob:April 5, 1836 - dod:August 19, 1836 Annetta Main, dob:June 14, 1837 - dod:March 29, 1843 Samuel Agustus Main, dob:July 4, 1839 John Worth Main, dob:March 22, 1841 Amarissa Main, dob:February 8, 1843 - dod:January 15, 1845 Cornelia Ann Main, dob:February 14, 1845 Reuben Main, dob: January 13, 1847 - dod:February 20, 1847 Huldah Foote Main, dob:July 13, 1848 Antoinette Celestine Main, dob:November 9, 1851 Eli Gilbert Main, dob:November 5, 1852 MARRIAGES: John Worth Main and Kate Agnus Foley - May 8, 1859 Cornelia Ann Main and Charles S. Green - January 27, 1873 Eli Gilbert Main and Francis E. DeGarmo - March 26, 1877 I have no place of birth or death on any of the above but would be interested to hear if any of you have any more info on the. I haven't made a sure conection but I believe that Albert S. Green would be my Grandmother, Ella (Shaw) Buck's line. I have also come across a news paper clipping that might be of intrest to some. This person was married to my Great Uncle, Paul Buck. I do not know what news paper this came from, it is just a clipping, any identifacation was clippied away. But doing the math the article had to be printed in 1982. Retired Postmistress Dead at 85: Mrs. Velma (Sutherland)Buck, 85, retired postmistress of the Sister Lakes Post office, died Monday at Martin Luther Memorial Home, South Haven. She had resided at 1160 Roslyn Road, Benton Harbor. Mrs. Buck was born Aug. 20, 1897, in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Charles and Maggie Sutherland, longtime Sister Lakes resort owners. She served as postmistress for 31 years at the Sister Lakes Post Office, retiring in 1955. Funeral arrangements were incomplete this fore-noon at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service, Benton Harbor. Friends may call beginning 4 PM Wednesday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to Michigan Heart Association. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Worth (Margaret) Miller of Benton Harbor. Her husband, Paul, preceded her in death in 1944. I hope this info will help some of you. Sue __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Tax Center - online filing with TurboTax http://taxes.yahoo.com/

    2. Hi everyone, My name is Kelly. I am new to this list. I am researching my family lines of WILSON, RICE, and CURTIS. While a few of my Wilson's ended up in Hartford (Van Buren County), most of them I was told ended up in Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, Watervliet, and I believe Niles. I currently live near Detroit, so I have to rely on any help and research via the internet, or I might swing by a cemetery in Berrien Co., on my way to or from IL (where I am from, and where my family remains).
