    1. [MIBERRIE-L] Graham/Camfield
    2. Grabowski
    3. Rose Arazina Graham was born 1852 (where?) and died 1931 in Berrien Co. She is buried in Silverbrook Cem in the same plot as John S Gallup, Xenia B Gallup, and Mrs E A Graham. I'm guessing that Mrs E A Graham was her mother and that Xenia was her sister.( middle initial of B was for Belle and it appears she went by this name also). Also in this plot are Rose's daughter and son-in-law Mabel and Ben Marsh. The 1880 census shows a Rosa Graham. Marriage records have her name as Zena Graham. I have been told that she worked as maid in a home just outside of Buchanan prior to her marriage to Joseph Harrison Camfield 1847-1927.

    1. Re: [MIBERRIE-L] Berrien Co. Roll Call! Rutz, Martin, Ott, Phairas, Monte
    2. Sherry, I don't think so but I haven't got that far with the Martin line. Bertha Mae Martin was my grandmother m. to Louis Rutz. Bertha's parents were Frank E. Martin and Maggie McQueston. This is the spelling that my Aunt gave me. I have found a marriage record of this with the same dates and same place which list her as McChristian. I have run into a few different spellings. I know that Bertha had a sister who married ? Dohm, Dahm or Dahms. I don't know which spelling is correct and no first name for the sister. I want to say that it was Nettie but can't be sure. I have had information from this list that says they were buried in Van Buren county in Keeler cemetery. I will be in Michigan in July so I do plan to check as much out as I can in a week. Much thanks.....Penny Rutz El Cajon, CA

    3. Penny, I have a John B. Martin marrying Elizabeth Ann Hinchman on 15 May 1850 in Berrien County. He was killed in the fall of 1862. As he was digging in a bank to make a mill-race, it caved in on him and he died shortly after they got him home near Three Oaks. They have seven children, five sons and two daughters. The sons all moved to the west coast. The two daughters were Mary Elizabeth Martin and Nellie M. R. Martin. Do any of these names appear in your records? Let me know. 3. My Arent surnames in Bainbridge Township that I'm working on now include: Koerber, Zordell, Nichols, Benedix, Kietzer, Lindahl, Haeffner, DeTemple, Fritz, Muth, Krieger - and all the spelling variations -. I'm also working on these lines: Pinnell (Not Pennell--that's an entirely different line) - Berrien Township. Hinchman-Berrien Township. I think Cyrus also owned land in Bainbridge Township at one time and later lived in Montcalm County, but died in Pipestone Township in Berrien. Martin - Three Oaks Willis - Berrien Township Marble - Three Oaks Groat - Berrien Township Many are buried in Morris Chapel Cemetery in Berrien Township. I have over 1500 names in my AREND/ARENT descendancy so I would love to hear from any kinships. I've heard from many of you in the past but I'm always searching for new info. Last month I broke one of my oldest brick walls with my great grandmother's (Hulda Vienna Sargent Smith)sister, Mary Ann Sargent and guess what? She also lived in Berrien County! Isn't this fun!?! My Terrells settled parts of Ohio, then some of them came to Michigan, mostly in Kent County, married into my NEAL line, and spread to Berrien County. Kathy
