We have a copy of the Bay City Journal story there is no date other than the year, no reporters name neither. The accident happened at the mill of William Peters on 12th St. and Water St. He worked for Ballentine & Co. we are not sure why he was at this other mill. He was 20 years old and we assume not married as all effects were sent back to his brother in Canada. According to the article his body was given proper care.
