I did find him mentioned in the 1910 city directory but not after that. He apparently lived with a brother. As I said the indexes are incomplete. I also checked the tombstone transcriptions for Green Ridge and he's not there. I don't have access to the actual cemetery records. If you check the Bay County GenWeb page http://www.mifamilyhistory.org/bay/ you will find an address for the records for Green Ridge (under cemeteries and transcriptions). They might be able to help you further. I'm surprised that the county was unable to give you the date--I know they have some records on the computer.
