Richard Bennett 55 years old, well known in the city and the country North of here through his long association with the Michigan Central Railroad as a Locomative Engineer. He died at his home 2021 North madision Ave. at 1:35 Thrusday morning of Pneaumonia after an illness of one week. Mr Bennett was born in Goodrich Ontario Canada May 16th 1873, and has been a resident of Bay City for the past 45 years. Since 1898 Mr. Bennett has been an Engineer on the Mackinaw Division of the Michigan Central. He was a member of the baptist Church, Wenyia? Lodge I.O.O.P, Bay City Lodge No. SS ? P.O.P.E. and of B? Igen E No. 338 Survieing are his wife Mary Elizabeth, two daughters, Miss Emma and Elizabeth at home, two sisters, Mrs Charles Werth,of Saginaw and Mrs. George Copeland of Detroit, two brothers, William of Detroit and Howard of Saginaw.
