An increased effort is being made this year to improve this historical burials ground of many of Bay City's earliest pioneers. In conjunction with this effort, the group has adopted the abandoned Seamans cemetery which share an ajoining border with Pine Ridge. You can see photo of the progress has been made so far at http://bjmi.us/to/pineridge/pr-news.html Better yet, visit these cemeteries, and while your there do something that will help make a difference. On Memorial Day at noon, there will be a special ceremony besides the verterans honor guard at the Soldiers' Rest in Pine Ridge, thall will include some reading and music.
