Sorry for delay replying but wanted to find more info. Yes William's birth date is definitely 20 May 1902. Date of death was 24 Oct 1973 Hampton Bay City, Bay MI. SS No 381-10-6975. I have no idea if he served in WWII, may main line of interest is whether he married and had family. I am keen to learn if I have relatives in US. It is NOT EASY FROM UK to apply on line for a death certificate I have already tried. It is NOT the easiest certificate ordering service I can assure you and the cost is huge, by courier, post does not seem to be an alternative option either! Is it possible for some kind person just to do a look-up and provide the info from the death certificate? That way I can get some more info that could be relevant to my search for long lost relatives maybe. I would appreciate any help you can give me in my quest.
