I think that his Great Grandfather was George. Have you looked online at Google? You can search through history books. I have found information about the Staudacher family there. The Staudachers grew up in the same area as my Pfundt ancestors. I believe that George lived in Monitor with the Pfunds. My Grandfather, Arthur Pfundt's best man was Louis Staudacher. I wonder which of the three churches in the area Bartholomaeus attended. St. Paul Lutheran in Frankenlust was the oldest. There is also Trinity Lutheran Monitor and St. John Lutheran Amelith.
