If you have one of their Family History Centers near you, you can order the film for about $3.50 (that's what is costs where I live in Michigan). http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/printing/titledetailsprint.asp?titleno=213133 The State of Michigan will not allow most people to order birth records unless it is for themselves, their children or if the birth is over either 100 or 110 years ago. Besides, it costs $26.00. http://www.michigan.gov/mdch/0,1607,7-132-4645---,00.html Possibly you could get one through Bay County but I am not familiar with their offices. THere is a John Alexander with wife Ida in Bay City on the 1910, 1920 and the 1930 censuses. They have a son named Harold but the daughter is named Naomi. She was born circa 1905-age 5 on 1910 census. She is also on the 1920 census with her family but not the 1930. John is from Canada (English) and Ida is from Ohio. Harold is 7 years old in 1910. Do you think Naomi may be Ruby?
