He married Marianna TOBOLA on 5 November 1877 in Bnin, Poznan, Poland. She was born on 21 March 1856 in Mieczewo, Poznan, Poland, the daughter of Walenty TOBOLA and Franciszka ROZMIAREK. Franz arrived in the U.S. on 15 Jun 1888 in New York on the ship S.S. Polynesia. Marianna arrived with three children on the S.S. Rugia in New York on 7 April 1890. They settled in Bay City where he worked as a laborer. Their children were Frances (25 Feb 1878), Frank (18 March 1880), Martin (29 Oct 1881), Frank (26 Feb 1884), Marcyanna "Martha" (16 Jan 1887), John (17 Feb 1888), Valentina "Violet" (8 Feb 1891), Catherine (11 Oct 1893), Julia (21 Apr 1896), Victoria (6 Dec 1898), and Stanislawa "Stella" (30 Apr 1902). Franz died on 25 November 1915, and his wife Marianna died on 13 July 1920. Both are buried at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Bay City. Would be pleased to share in! formation with other family members.
