He was Clarence LaFond. The following information is from an obit appearing in the Bay City Times on February 20, 2005 on page 5. One of the sons of George and Pearl Gordon LaFond was Clarence C. ("Harry"). Clarence was born June 22, 1920 in Bay City. He married Evelyn May Rutlewski on Nov 13, 1918 in St. Stanislaus [Kostka} Church. He died on Feb 18, 2004 at his home. He is surved by his wife, Evelyn, 2 children Alan LaFond and Janet (Alan) Pfund, 6 grandchildren Melissa (Chad) Robbins, Maggie (Eric) Potter, Amber LaFond, Tracey (Kelly) Larges, Holly (Ken) Jezowski, Angela Pfund, 10 great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Dustin, Becca, Kennedy, MacKenzie, Collin, Owen, Emma, Kenlee, and Gracie. Also surviving are four sisters: Lois O'Farrel, Ceil Mersdorf, Dolores Weisen, Geraldine Foster and a sister-in-law, Dorothy LaFond. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 6 sisters: Fred LaFond, George LaFond, Lloyd McDonald, Lucretia Parrent, Adele Trombley, Marie Ostrander, Edna Scott, Thelma Jullian, Lorraine LaRoche. His is buried at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Hope this helps.
