Helen Kierpiec is my aunt and has been assisting me is my search. You have provided me with the name of Andreas Tomczak, a brother to John Tomczak who would be my great-great grandfather. His son, Lawrence was my great-grandfather, and his son Louis was my grandfather, and his son Benjamin was my dad. I have a birth certificate for Louis who was born in Poland and it has been translated. I will check tonight and will be able to give you the area in Poland where this family lived at the time. Perhaps together we can come up with more information on this family. I know John and his wife Agnes had at least four children, Lawrence, Petronella, Michael and Antony but I suspect there are more. Lawrence married Lucy Gielda and together had 7 children, Catherine, Frances, Louis, Stanley, John, Thomas and Josephine. I have the names of each of their children. Louis, my grandfather had 14 children, two of which were my aunt Helen Kierpiec, and! my dad, Ben Tomczak. There is a Pennsylvania connection to Beaver Twp. Michigan where this large family resided.
