Monroe and Delia is living with her; in 1911 Celia, Delia and James are living in the Monroe house; in 1914 through 1920 Celia is listed at the Monroe house. The next directory--1922--lists NO Joys at all. I found a small, older picture of the restaurant in a wonderful book I own called 'Bay City Logbook' by Jeremy W. Kilar. The caption reads: "The original Michigan Haus restaurant on M-84 was a part of the Frankenlust settlement". I remember eating there many years ago. The restaurant has been closed for awhile, then it appeared someone was remodeling it. I had hoped it would open again, but so far it remains closed. My gggrandfather, J.L. Hachtel was one of the original pioneers in Frankenlust. I don't see any connections to the names you mentioned. If I find anymore information pertaining to the restaurant, I will post it for you.
