Author: Mae3607 Surnames: Alton Weaver Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.michigan.counties.bay/4515.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I went searching through the cemeteries of Bay County Michigan, some had all indexing others were partial. Calvary Cemetery Bay county michigan, there are a lot of Weavers could be relatives but not sure. Somtimes when a family member died of diptheria, the family usually buried them as soon as possible, and never put in a grave marker,(also could be buried with relatives) and the county usually had a death record for that family member, but that is about all. I have ancestors and family who died back when also, and my grandmother told me they were buried fast to keep others from getting sick. www.rootsweb.com has a cemetery registration, but Bay county does not have too many, and I did go into yahoo, typed in bay county michigan genealogy, and there site does have cemetery listings for bay county. 3. The LDS has filmed Bay County marriages, but I'm not sure which years. Look in the Family History Library Catalog online at www.familysearch.org . I found one in 1879 (indexed 1880 but the original is clear). I think I may have found the index on the USGENWEBSite. Information found on the film was disappointing. Good luck!
