She was sister of Harry my grandfather, William, Mary and Isabella Wilson all of whom emigrated to USA/Canada in 1920's. I believe she married Andrew N Twork on 15th Dec 1923 Detroit MI. She was listed along with her siblings on the Orbituary of her brother William Wilson who died Oct 24th 1973 Bay City MI. Does anybody recognise these details, does she have family who would be willing to have contact with me? Can anybody provide me with SS No. or perhaps can obtain details of an Orbituary which might offer me more very useful information in my search for her family - my relatives who I would love to make contact with. I found in the 1900 census that a Joseph Fobert listed as nephew born in May 1877 and a Lillian Fobert listed as niece born in June 1888 were listed as residing with William and Emily. I traced back to the 1894 census and found a Fobert family and William living close in Essexville. I have copies of those pages if you want them. If you send me the name of William's father I can do a manual search of the incomplete death indexes for him. The father's name of the Fobert family in 94 is Joseph. I live in England. I am searching for descendants of Christina Jessie Twork nee WILSON. She was born Sept 20th 1904 at Aberchirder, Banffshire Scotland. She was the sister to Harry, William, Mary, Isabella all of whom emigrated to USA/Canada in 1920's approx. If I have correct Christina she married Andrew N Twork (Tworck ??) on 15 Dec 1923 Detroit, Wayne County. She was listed along with other sibings on the Orbituary of her brother William WILSON who died Oct 24 1973, Bay City. It is possible we may have a family connection through her brother Harry WILSON born 1898, who died 1978 of Inkster, Wayne County MI. Does anybody recognise these details within their family? Would love to hear from you. Kinds regards Margaret Rose nee WILSON

Hi there, I live in England. I have been advised to contact this message board. So here goes. I am trying to trace my great uncle William WILSON born 20 May 1902 in Aberchirder Banffshire Scotland. He emigrated to USA via Canada 1922. I have 1930 census, he was in Detroit, Infantry Street, lodging with his brother my grandfather Harry, both unmarried then. I think I have correct SS No which is 381-10-6975. Died 24 Oct 1973. Death Residence Localities: ZIP 48706 Localities: Hampton Bay City, Bay MI Could some kind person do an 'orbit' for me or even a look-up of the death certificate for me please. I am very keen to know if I have relatives in USA, William's family maybe and his descendents, and hopefully trace them. I have only found out that William and his brother my grandfather, emigrated from Scotland, my own father never spoke of his family. (At the moment I am also waiting the arrival of a death certificate concerning my grandfather Harry WILSON from a kind person in Wayne county where he died.) I look forward to hearing from anyone who may be able to help me, and thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Kind regards Margaret Rose nee WILSON

My great-uncle, William Fobert, lived with them in 1910 in Hampton Village (p 103 of census). The connection must be on Emily's side, since I know of no other Deary's we are related to. Does anyone have a connection to or any information about this family? There is also a James and Mary Deary who appear to live there as well. Especially in a small town, the obituary often gives a lot of information, especially the names of survivors. I highly recommend that you Google RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) and see if someone has volunteered for Bay County. If so, ask for the newspaper obituary. If not, there is probably an "Ask a Librarian" service at a library in Bay County, and the librarian will do the lookup. Maybe that's the first think you will want to try. Good luck. Your name has to be on the actual record in order to get a copy. Only parents and child can get copies. My experience in Bay county has been good with seeing marriages and deaths at the clerk's office. I would suggest contacting someone in the area - check out Genealogical acts of Random Kindness - or write to someone on the mailing list or message board who lives there. they might be willing to do a few easy lookups - especially an obit at the library - 1973 wasn't that long ago. Sorry for delay replying but wanted to find more info. Yes William's birth date is definitely 20 May 1902. Date of death was 24 Oct 1973 Hampton Bay City, Bay MI. SS No 381-10-6975. I have no idea if he served in WWII, may main line of interest is whether he married and had family. I am keen to learn if I have relatives in US. It is NOT EASY FROM UK to apply on line for a death certificate I have already tried. It is NOT the easiest certificate ordering service I can assure you and the cost is huge, by courier, post does not seem to be an alternative option either! Is it possible for some kind person just to do a look-up and provide the info from the death certificate? That way I can get some more info that could be relevant to my search for long lost relatives maybe. I would appreciate any help you can give me in my quest.
