Survivors include one brother, Melville W., of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Wilder, of Kingston; Mrs. Russell Hainsworth (Annie), of Riverside; Melville W. Smith, of Windsor; 12 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte Street East at Devonshire Road, Friday, February 10, at 2 p.m., Rev. Gordon W. Butt officiating. Interment will be in Victoria Memorial Cemetery. Looking for connections to William "Archie" Clair, born 1882 in Montreal area of Canada. Moved to Bay City Michigan as a young man and married Melina Visnaw (Visenaw, Visnau, Vezina) on Oct 28 1903, in Bay City. Her parents were John B. Visnaw and Mary Gerow. Archie and Melina had 6 children - Lucy, William Nelson, Joseph, Eugene, David, Archie. Sometime between 1914-1920. Archie died, and Melina remarried someone with last name of Clara. She later remarried a John Moore in 1922 and moved to Detroit. If aynone knows these people, I would love to share and compare info. Karin He who dies with the most ancestors wins!
