Has anyone seen my Albert "George" WISNIEWSKI in the 1900 census in Bay City? He was born 9 April 1882 in Bay City, son of Martin and Catherine (NOWAK) WISNIEWSKI. So he would have been 18 years old for the census, but he does not appear with his family.Part of the challenge is that his parents appear as Martin and Catherine CHERRY in the 1900 census in Taymouth, Saginaw County with their family. Albert appears to have used WISNIEWSKI all his life, notably when he married Rose GRUSZCZYNSKI on 9 November 1903 in Bay City, and then following her unexpected death, he married Constance SCHULTZ in Bay City on 20 February 1905. He is in Bay City in the 1910 census. If you see my Albert WISNIEWSKI, would you please ask him to call home!! Joseph Martin Romeoville, IL

At the present time we have found information only on (1) Francis Frank Sniecinski, born Sept. 1849, Poland/Germany, and died in Bay City, Michigan. He married Franciszka ? after 1875 in Poland. She was born 1846 in Poland and died December 1913 in Bay City, Bay County, Michigan; and (2) Martin Sniecinski, b. about 1860, Zieleznica, Posen, Poland, who died unknown. He married Antonina Mularek, born about 1860 and died unknown. Not all of their children moved to the USA. Martin and Antonina were my husband's great grandparents. Is it possible to obtain a death certificate for your great grandmother, Marie-Anna Sniecinski? That might give you her parents names and/or the town she was from? Would your grandparents have any documentation with her name? If Marie-Anna was living in 1937, that is late enough that records must have been kept in Leipzig, Germany. You might try writing there or access some of the internet web sites for Leipzig for help. Please keep me informed. You can contact me directly at: [email protected] Dana

I would be interested in trying to learn more about her history to include in Bay County biographies on http://bay-journal.com which is a local history website. Information about her would also be included the local theater section of the site. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested sharing information in this regard. If so, I would be glad to do some research at the library on Isora (Willett) Faxon. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 12, 2004 11:15 AM Subject: [MIBay] Re: Willett > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/kFB.2ACI/5.32.1026.1116.4 > > Message Board Post: > > I have a mystery women within my family findings...
