In the 1900 census he was in Gilford, Tuscola County. In the 1910 census (as BADRY) he was living in Bay City and had been married 5 years.. If a City Directory indicates he was living in Bay City around this time I may be able to find a marriage record. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Monitor is a township west of Bay City. I think the mailing address is Bay City. It's just north of Frankenlust, on the west side of the Saginaw river. There is a map of Bay County on the Michigan genweb site: http://www.mifamilyhistory.org/bay/ [email protected] wrote: >This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > >Surnames: kesemeyer, kasmeyer, kasemeyer, kasimeyer >Classification: Query > >Message Board URL: > >http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kFB.2ACI/1992 > >Message Board Post: > >looking for a place listed on George Kesemeyer's membership to Free & Accepted Masons. The papers say he was born in Monitor, Michigan. I knew he lived in Bay City, so I checked census records, and found a Monitor listed in Bay County in 1880 (the only free census look-up). He was born in the 1850's. Does anyone know the history of this place? Does it still exist? As far as I know, she was the only child. She was raised alot by her grandmother, as her mother was a school teacher for a very long time in Bay City. Kaye retired about 5 years ago, but I would bet she is a wealth of information on the Reed family, and others as well, as she is very knowledgeable and a life long residient of Bay County. Don't have an address or phone number, but maybe you could get it from information...or check in at the old office there on 1000 S. Madison. Surely someone would remember her. Good Luck.

William B. Reed was born abt 1883 in WI, with his brother John (b. 1881 in WI) before his family moved to new york, where his siblings, Guy (b. 1890 in NY) and Jessie (b. 1895 in NY) were born. By 1900 the family had moved to Bay City, MI. William was a notary public, and worked high up in Robert Gage Coal Company. I think that his two brothers may have remained bachelors for quite some time. William B. md Margaret Kesemeyer abt. 1901. Margaret was born in michigan to George Kesemeyer, and Mary Karoline Stadelman. George was b. 19 Sep 1856. George & Mary were married 19 Nov 1879 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bay City. George was a life member of the free and accepted masons of Bay City, and was in the US Navy in Malta. Mary Karoline Stadalman was somehow related, perhaps a daughter of Karoline Catharina Stadalman. They had children named Margaret, Fred, and Anna. Anna md a Bryant, and had a son named Melvin. Melvin md a girl named Dorthea, and had children Bob & Susan. Margaret and Anna for some reason lost touch when their brother, Fred died. I also know that they had dear friends named Min and May. I also have in my notes the name Clara, who may have been Fred's wife. Margaret "Maggie" Kesemeyer eventually gave in to cancer, and was bedridden for a year before her death. william reed and margaret kesemeyer had two sons, clarence b. abt 1905, and gerald b. abt 1911. Clarence moved away before 1930, and was living in California, i think. Gerald married Lorena Ola Dulude. They were married in secret because she was catholic, and they didn't tell anyone for about a year. Gerald served in WWII and received the purple heart when he was shot through the hand. Gerald and Lorena both worked for a man named Mr. Meisel, who had businesses in both bay city and in england. Also looking for anyone with information or remembrances of the Dulude family. Hector Louis Dulude and Louise St Germaine had children named Owen, Iva, Joseph "Bud", Lorena, Hector "Hec", and Louella. Hector, Sr. worked at Bay City Shovel. I would also be interested if anyone has information on the history of Robert Gage Coal, Meisel's, or Bay City Shovel.
