Be a loving expression of kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting. I know it was sometime between 1929 and April 4, 1930--date that the census was done. I have been crawling through the Bay City Times of that time period for her obit with no luck. Her husband Andrew is supposed to be buried at St. Anthony's cemetary in Fisherville but I couldn't find the tombstone. Also no luck at the cemetaries of St. Pats and St. STans where the rest of the Piesiks are buried. I wondered if the Karlubkowski name had been changed to Karbowski. Are you sure? I can find no mention of the Karlubkowskis in Parisville after the Great Fire of 1881 and made an assumption that they might have perished. If the name changed maybe there's hope yet. I'd be glad to share what I have--including the site where you can download a copy of the original land grant to Michael Karlubkowski in Huron County, MI. Write me at [email protected]
