    3. Help, Help During the 40s and up to the 60s there used to be a canning factory on the north west corner of Vet's Park in Bay City. This factory was seasonal, hired a lot of local people. It usually operated in the fall making catsup and freezing beans, squash and other vegetables. Anyone know what the name of this place was? Thanks gypsy

And yes this is the correct Shirley Ann Blank who married James Windt. I would love a copy of their marriage license as well as at least her obituary. And yes, there certainly are and were mistakes in the Census, Obituaries, Court Records, SSDI you name it. I have been at this for 31 years, that is why I attempt to get at least 3 sources that match before I accept it as gospel. And I do get things as a 3rd source off the internet, if they site sources if not I won't accept it. To many people put down whatever they wish, with no documentation to back it up. I have many years ago hired people in other states to research for me, only to enjoy going later and double checking in person. As a former orphan and ward of the state of Michigan , I enjoy finding out all I can about my family in person. It makes them more real to me.

What I have is that she died in Pinconning, Mi 1980 and that is all. I have nothing on her husband James Windt at all, that was the reason for inquiry. Thanks for trying , it is appreciated. I am hoping once the court house is open next year, someone can go check the marriage records for surname of Windt in the volume covering 1950 Shirley was born in 1932 so that would be a time span of 1950-1960 for marriage
