Johnston (b. 1894 in Bay City) who supposedly died from a fall from the steeple of the Visitation Church. No time frame is provided, but it must have been around 1910 - 1920. If anyone has an insight to this event, please contact me. I am attempting to verify the accuracy of this story.

I can tell you about the Bralls to some extent. My grandmother was Bertha Brall. Her sisters were, Clara (Mrs.Cliff English), Irene (Mrs. Killey), Laura (Mrs. Haggadorn), Mae (Turk), Jessie (? husband we called Brownie) brother William Brall. My grandmother's father was Paul Brall, mother was Isabel or Isabella Fales. I think Paul was from Prussia. Isabel I think was from New York. Paul is buried in Pine Grove cemetery area along with a lot of Killeys. I sed to take my grandmother there to put flowers on all the graves. I knew Clare, Laura, Irene, Mae, and Jessie. I think she had 2 other sisters, Alice and Helen, but I didn't know them. I also didn't know William. Hope this helps. Oh, if you go to the cemetery, walk way to the back over the hill. There is a grave of a civil war veteran with the name of Brall. It might be Paul's father, maybe an older brother. There were flowers on the grave last summer so I think some relative must be in the area. Feel free to email me.

But any info on this family would help. Although I don't have any info regarding Stanley Andrzejewski directly, I can tell you that in the Fall 2003 issue of the 'Polish Eaglet', the newsletter for the Polish Genealological Society of Michigan, there is a reference to 4 Andrzejewski's: Frank(#237), Lorentz(#264), Lukass(#55) and Roch(#12) from Bay City, Michigan. On 19 March 1895 they became citizens of the United States in the U.S. Circuit Court in the Federal Building of Bay City, Bay County Michigan. 392 men were naturalized on this day and a majority were Polish from the Eighth Ward of Bay City which was predominately Polish. Perhaps one of these men was an ancestor of your Adam. If so, you can write for a copy of the naturalization papers at NARA: National Archives and Records Administration Great Lakes Region 7358 South Pulaski Road Chicago, IL 60629-5898 Tel: 773 948-9019 Email: [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected]) Cost is $10 per name.
