The Rev. Keith Pohl officiated and burial was at Lakeview Cemetery. A physician said an autopsy showed the cause of death to be cirrhosis of the liver. He was taken ill Monday, a week before his death. Mr. WENGER was born June 24, 1911, and was the adopted son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Menno WENGER of Nashville. On Jan. 20, 1946, he was married in Battle Creek to Mrs. Beatrice GILL, who survives. He was employed as a machine operator at the Eaton Mfg. Co. He was a member of the Nashville Veterans of Foreign Wars. Besides his wife, Mr. WENGER is survived by a daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Gaylord (Charlene) BARNES of Vermontville, a stepson, Gordon GILL of Kalamazoo and five grandchildren. ********** THE HASTINGS BANNER, Hastings, Mich., Thurs., Dec. 11, 1958, Sec. 2, Pg. 7, Cols. 2-3 NASHVILLE MAN DIES SATURDAY IN BATTLE CREEK Harold (Bing) WENGER, 47, of R2 Nashville, died in a Battle Creek hospital at 4 a.m. Saturday. He had entered the hospital earlier in the week. Mr. WENGER, a machine operator at the Eaton Mfg. company in Battle Creek, was born on June 24, 1911. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Menno WENGER. On Jan. 20, 1946, he married Mrs. Beatrice GILL, a teacher in the Battle Creek schools. He was a member of the Methodist church and the V.F.W. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gaylord (Charlene) BARNES, of Vermontville; a step-son, Gordon GILL of Kalamazoo, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Vogt Funeral home in Nashville on Monday at 2 p.m. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery. ********** NOTE: Harold Wenger's 1st wife was Margaret Leone WINSLOW who d. 27 June 1934
