Chapman - Rte 1, Delton - Passed away Sunday May 15, 1977, at Borgess Hospital. Mr. Chapman was born August 21, 1902, in Sherwood, Mich., son of Mamie and Clarence Chapman. He is survived by one son and 2 daughters, Hugh J. and Phyllis Elliott of Kalamazoo and Genevieve Casey of Battle Creek; one brother, Francis of Albion; one sister, Esther Weeks of Athens. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite, in 1970. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Spencer Funeral Home, Athens.
