Mr. COCHRAN was born September 28, 1932, in Kalamazoo, the son of Leonard and Grace (EDWARDS) COCHRAN. He attended elementary school in Kalamazoo, and graduated from Delton-Kellogg High School in 1951. He had been employed the past 38 years at Beach Products in Kalamazoo. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Hickory Corners Wesleyan Church; where he was a faithful worker; Sunday School Class Secretary; usher, Board member/Trustee many years, Vacation Bible School worker, and janitor for several years. He enjoyed watching pro-football on T.V. and pro-bowling, loved deer hunting each November, enjoyed helping his wife with her day care children after work and loved to visit with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father in 1968 and 2 brothers, Calvin in 1980 and John R. COCHRAN in 1946. ! On October 5, 1956, he married Darlene ELWELL, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Grace of Delton; 2 daughters, Teresa and Randy RASTOSKEY, Norma and James W. BOWER, all of Delton; 1 sons, Richard J. COCHRAN of South Haven; 3 grandchildren, Richard, Kathlynn and Robert RASTOSKEY; 2 sisters, Marian DOWDLE of Battle Creek, Barbara HARPER of Kalamazoo; 2 brothers, Donald F. COCHRAN and Phyllis, Daniel L. and Julie COCHRAN, both of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home, Delton, where funeral services will be held Saturday 1 p.m., Pastor Leonard Davis of Hickory Corners Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial East Hickory Corners Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hickory Corners Wesleyan Church.
