Jeri was born March 28, 1925 in Alix, AR, the daughter of John and Flora (Wilson) Jackman. Learn more about Jeri, view her Life Story Film, and visit with her family and friends Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Betzler Life Story Funeral Homes, Stadium Drive West of US-131, 375-2900, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday 11:00 AM. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Decatur. Following the burial, food and fellowship will be shared at Sam's Joint, Plainwell. Jeri owned and operated Ravenwood Kennels in Oshtemo for a number of years and had National award winning German Shepards and Afghans. She loved spending time entertaining, especially at Gun Lake. Jeri was at her best with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her. On June 23, 1945, she was united in marriage with Max Yetter, who preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded by a son, Matt in 1998; and a sister, Sue Heath! in 1998. Jeri is survived by two children: Fred R. Yetter of Gun Lake, and Leslie Yetter-Stromeyer or Brentwood, CA; five grandchildren: Cara (Treg) Stommen of Ventura, CA, Kelly Yetter of Kalamazoo, Eric (Trinity) Yetter of Portage, Jesseca Underwood of Holland, MI, and Tylre Stromeyer of Wayland; five great-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Bernie Heath of Palm Dessert, CA.
