Taylor Oldfield, aged 41 years, died this morning (Thursday, Oct. 17th.) of inflammation of the stomach, at the residence of his father. Two weeks ago he left his home and family at Nashville, Michigan, to visit his father, who has been ill for some time. He was in town on last Saturday. His family were telegraphed to on Wednesday morning. He leaves a wife and four children, and a large circle of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral takes place on Saturday (Oct. 19) at 11 o'clock A.M. -- Rev. W.B. Woodbury will preach at the church in Bellville.
