I just learned of a new book "pioneer familes of Barry Co." by Joanne "Jodie" Doster, of Kalamazoo, MI. I wrote the author but she said the book is sold out but she can make copies of pages. I do not know however if the Fishers are mentioned in there or not ( as I did not see that surname listed) but do know my two main Cressey/Prairieville Barry Co, MI familes of the surnames SLATER and BARBER familes are.
