    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/QFB.2ACE/392.1 Message Board Post: The TURNER family I'm aware of arrived in Barry Co around 1870, from IA, and before that NY. That would be Asher TURNER and wife Sarah MILLIKEN, and after his wife's death, Charles, Asher's father. I don't know for sure what other Turners showed up. Your Ann would have been born 1860 or earlier, but perhaps she is part of that bunch. Asher's daughter Amy married into my WILLSON line. By the birth places and years of the 4 children I know of, they were in MN 1855 through 1864. I think I remember that Turners were mostly buried at Yankee Springs Cemetery http://www.interment.net If it's the right bunch of Turners it looks like they went together to NY where he died and she returned, next-county over afterward, or maybe she didn't go at all, who knows. She may be findable on 1900 census living with someone at Calhoun County, maybe his kids or some of hers? Maybe this little bit of info can help you dig out your folks. That's all I can think of right now, except maybe to look for any of them on the MI state 1894 census, see if any are around? You can find a link to that at U MI on rootsweb's Barry County page.
