I believe the Burdick I'm looking for is John Burdick, b. abt. 1814 in Canada, and married Frances ?, b. abt. 1824 in New York. At the time of the 1850 census, they had two children, Charlotte, 8, and Dorrance, 6. I believe they had two more children, then John died before 1862, at which time Frances married William Crabb, b. 1805 in England, a widower.
