Kennedy - 4133 McKibben Rd., Cloverdale, passed away Tuesday morning Aug. 29, 1972. Mrs. Kennedy was born Oct. 9, 1946, in Kalamazoo, daughter of Gerald and Vivienne Slager, and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She had attended Faith Reformed Church, was employed by the Stryker Corp. She is survived by one son, John Edward Kennedy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald P. Slager of Kalamazoo; grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Stoops of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters and one brother, Mrs. Terrence (Janice) Otis of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Leonard (Jerrilyn) McElwain of Santee, Calif. and Donald E. Slager of Kalamazoo; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services wil be held Thursday at 3 o'clock at the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, Rev. David A.
