Lawrence Sr. - 15585 Kellogg School Rd., Hickory Corners, passed away Friday [Sept 3, 1976] evening at Borgess Hospital. Mr. Lawrence was born May 8, 1905, in Hickory Corners, the son of Otis and Minnie Van Scykle (sic) Lawrence and had lived and farmed his entire lieftime in the Hickory Corners area. He was a past officer ofthe Battle Creek Milk Producers Assoc., a member and held many offices in the Hickory Corners Wesleyan Church, member and officer of the Barry County Farm Bureau. He was married to Vera Morford, March 24, 1926, in Delton and they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this year. Surviving besides the wife are: 2 daughters, Mrs. Don (Marilyn) Walsh of Richardson, Texas, Mrs. Luke (Marjorie) Miller of Pontiac; 2 sons, Lynn Lawrence Jr. and Arnold Lawrence, both of Hickory Corners; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at ! the Hickory Corners Wesleyan Church, Rev. David Vardaman officiating.
