Lovett - 11402 Oak Dr., Gun Lake, Rte 1, Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 1977 at Borgess Hospital. Mr. Lovett was born March 17, 1916, in Otsego, where he had owned and operated Lovetts Hardware Store for over 30 years. He was a member of Otsego United Methodist Church, Otsego Chamber of Commerce, B.P.O.E. No. 1711, Pipp Community Hospital Board and was past president of the Otsego Rotary Club. Surviving are his wife, Virginia; 3 daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Judy) Griffith of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Penelope Barber of Otsego, Mrs. Jerry (Emily) Hodges of Hastings; one son, C. Terry of Hudsonville; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Grace Burlingham of Otsego; 3 brothers, Carl and Robert of Otsego; Lew of Allegan; many nieces and nephews. A son, Peter, preceded him in death in 1967. Friends may call at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, after 7 p.m. this evening, where services will be held Friday 11 a.m., Rev. William Schoettle officiating. Cremation an! d inurnment will follow.
