Mrs. Karnes and her husband Louis, who survives, operated the Trio Cafe and a taxicab business in Hastings for 53 years. Other survivors include a son, Steven, a daughter, Lucille Wilson, both of Delton, and a sister, Mrs. Wilma Hill of Kalamazoo.
