I married a Lurvey, our Lurvey line comes down from Peter Lurvey back in the 1600's. They were in Massachusettes, Vermont, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, South Dakota and Colorado. We have connections in several other states but that is our main line. Are you a Michigan Lurvey? My husband's ggggrandfather was Joseph Lurvey b.1785 in NY. his father was James but we don't know his mothers name. Joseph m.(Bunnell)(Wood) had a sister, Mary m.(Rutledge)and a brother Jacob m.(Bunnell)we believe their parents to be Jacob Lurvey and Rebecca Hunter. Joseph settled in Wisconsin, Jacob went to Michigan and Mary settled in Illinois. Any connections? Margo
