Mrs. Kastead was born October 30, 1904 in Kalamazoo, daughter of Abraham and Sarah Miller Francoise. She was formerly of Kalamazoo and was a chiropodist for many years in the Kalamazoo and Delton areas. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Delton. Her husband, Dr. Joseph Kastead, preceded her in death in 1952. Surviving are: several cousins, Mrs. Marguerite Westerkamp of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Mary E. Kastead of Detroit, Thomas E. Kastead of Delton, one sister-in-law Mrs. Kastead of Kalamazoo. Friends are being received after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Williams Funeral Home, Delton where the rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, Delton, with Msgr. Charles Keating officiating. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kalamazoo.
