Mack - 11279 Cobb Rd., Fair Lake, Delton, age 53, died Saturday at his home. He was born in Union Twp., Branch County to Mabel and Jesse Mack. He was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School in 1941. He served in the Army during World War II, and was a graduate of Argubright’s Business College. He was a 34 year Kellogg Company employee and was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club. He was also a member of Hickory Lodge No. 345 F. & A.M.; Prudence Noble Chapter No. 366 O.E.S., charter member of the Delton Area Chamber of Commerce. He was a real estate broker for 28 years and a former member of the Barry County Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Kellogg Sportsmen's Club and he attended the Wesleyan Church, Hickory Corners. He is survived by his wife, Donelda Avis (Funk) of Fair Lake; a son, James Martin Mack with the U.S. Coast Guard in Holland, Michigan; two daughters, Loretta Hommerding of Rte 2, Delton and Diana Newell of Battle Creek; thr! ee grandchildren; a brother, Marlin Mack of Bellevue; three sisters, Pauline May and Mrs. Warren (Dorothy) Tobey both of Concord and Mrs. William H. (Bertha) O’Brien of Flint. Friends may call at the Shaw Funeral Home, 121 Capitol Ave., N.E., Battle Creek until 10 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Wesleyan Church, Hickory Corners, Rev. David Vardaman officiating.
