I am looking for any information on Isaac Barton Raymond and his family. Isaac Barton Raymond, son of Jedediah and Marion (Barton) Raymond, Jr., was born in New York in 1812 and died in Michigan (probably Barry Co.) in 1889. Isaac was a farmer in Carlton Twp. He married Jane (?) about 1832. Jane probably died in the mid-1840s. Isaac and Jane were parents of at least 4 children: 1. Melicent (Melissa?) Jane Raymond, born circa 1833. Melicent married Alanson Todd 13 Aug 1860 in Adrian, Lenawee Co., MI. Melicent and Alanson Todd had three children: (1) Ester Jane Todd, b. 04 Nov 1861 in Rome, Lenawee Co., MI and died sometime after 1920, probably in Michigan. Ester married Charles F. married Charles F. "Charley" Wolford circa 1886. (2) Levi Todd, b. 18 Jan 1864 in Rome, Lenawee Co., MI and died before 1870. (3) Mary Eudora "Dora/Ella" Todd, b. 18 Jan 1866 in Blendon, Ottawa Co., MI. 2. Isaac Newton Raymond, born in 1837 in NY and died in 1919 in MI. He was a farmer. He was buried in Fuller Cemetery, Hastings, Barry Co., MI. 3. Newland B. Raymond, born in 1841 in NY and died in 1910 in MI. He married Lydia A. (?). He was buried in Fuller Cemetery in Hastings, Barry Co., MI. 4. Mary Raymond, b. circa 1845 in NY. Isaac's 1st wife, Jane, probably died and Isaac married (2) Catherine (?). Catherine had at least two more children: 1. Newell Raymond, b. circa 1854. 2. Henry Raymond, b. circa 1857. The 1870 Michigan Census showed that after the death of his daughter Melicent (Raymond) Todd, wife of Alanson Todd in 1867, her two surviving children, Ester Jane Todd, age 11, and Mary Eudora ("Dora/Ella") Todd, age 5, went to live with their grandparents. I'd like to know what happened to the younger daughter, Mary Eudora Todd. Sincerely, Terri Mulliken Allen Mesquite, TX
