My direct line is through Clarrissa Brown who married Alexander Price. Clarissa's parents were Joel & Mary (Fuller) Brown who are buried in the Barryville Cemetery. Joel & Mary's children that I know of are Clarissa b. 1818, William b. 1825 m. Lydia ---- , Electa b. 1827 m. Christopher Kill, Hamilton b. 1838-40 m. Emeline (possibly Seeley), Rebecca b. 1837 & Joel b. 1834. There could be other children but I'm not sure. I found Joel & Mary in the 1850 NY census in Newfane, Niagara Co with Joel, Rebecca & Hamilton. Clarissa was already married & living in Barry Co. In 1860 I can't find Joel Sr. but Mary is living with daughter Electa Kill and Hamilton is living a couple houses away working as a servant for Lorenzo Mudge's family. William is also in Barry Co. by 1850 and by 1860 is married and has 3 children Viola, Ada & Burt. I haven't found Rebecca as of yet. I haven't found Joel Jr in 1860 but I think he enlisted in 1861.
